The Machinist interprets blueprints in order to determine part specifications and uses various machines to craft them. They also complete basic documentation and maintenance tasks to ensure processes run smoothly and move materials when needed. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><div the first-piece inspection of parts using various measurement tools, confirming that the pieces are the correct material, quality, and specifications before beginning the machining
