We take our commitment to our Team Members, Customers, and the environment seriously.</p><p>The Senior Financial Analyst is a key partner within the Business Controls team, responsible for delivering actionable financial insights that support the performance of Manufacturing, Operations, and Commercial. The role blends value‑stream FP&amp;A, advanced analytics, and targeted cost analysis to drive operational decision‑making.<br>This role provides driver‑based forecasts, KPI dashboards, and clear financial narratives that help the business achieve improved profitability and efficiency. This position reports to the Manager – Business Controls.</p><p><strong>Compensation&nbsp;</strong><br>At S&amp;C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members and are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $87990 - $116578. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training.&nbsp;<br>This position may also be eligible for S&amp;C’s annual incentive plan (AIP). AIP amounts are variable and are dependent on both company and individual performance, subject to eligibility criteria. The target bonus percentage for this role is 5% of annual base earnings.</p><p><strong>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Financial Planning &amp; Forecasting</strong></p><p>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Develop and maintain driver-based budgets and forecasts using Oracle EPM Cloud or similar platforms.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Partner with Operations and Commercial teams to model production volumes, labour/overhead changes, absorption trends, and profitability drivers.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Conduct scenario analysis to support strategic planning.</p><p><strong>Performance Reporting &amp; Analytics</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prepare month-end and quarterly performance reports, including KPI packages, variance analysis, and executive summaries.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Build, automate, and maintain Power BI dashboards (inventory KPIs, throughput, value stream performance, variances, margin insights).<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and root causes.</p><p><strong>Value Stream Partnering</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Serve as Finance’s strategic partner to production value stream leaders, providing insights into operational performance and cost drivers.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Translate operational data into clear financial recommendations that influence decision-making.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives through data-driven insights.</p><p><strong>Cost Analysis &amp; Internal Controls</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide targeted cost analysis in partnership with the Senior Cost Accountant (without duplicating core costing tasks).<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strengthen internal controls over inventory movement, valuation, scrap, and intercompany financial flows.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support physical inventory and cycle count reviews from an analytical/FP&amp;A perspective.</p><p><strong>Leadership Communication &amp; Documentation</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Present insights to Production Operations, Operations Leadership, and Commercial teams in a clear, compelling narrative.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Create SOPs and documentation for financial processes, analytics workflows, and reporting standards.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives as required.</p><p><strong>We are looking for an individual who has:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Cost Accounting/FP&amp;A within manufacturing or complex operations.</li><li>Strong command of standard costing, overhead/labor rate setting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis; excellent month/quarter close discipline.</li><li>Proven Power BI capability (data modelling, DAX, KPI dashboards) and advanced Excel; strong data storytelling.</li><li>Demonstrated business partnering with Operations/Production value streams; ability to identify drivers/KPIs and influence outcomes.</li><li>Continuous-improvement mindset, strong internal-control orientation, and crisp written/oral presentation skills.</li><li>Hands-on Oracle EPM Cloud (budgets/forecasts) and familiarity with Oracle ERP/Financials (Costing; GL/AP/AR an asset).</li><li>CPA or CFA or equivalent professional designation is an asset.</li></ul><div style="font-style:normal;font-weight:400;text-decoration-color:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-thickness:initial;"><p><strong>Physical Effort</strong>:</p></div><p>Normal or frequent minor physical effort is required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace.
