The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $85580 - $113451.8. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.</a>Join Our Team as a Product Marketing Engineer!This position is for an engineer with an understanding of marketing and sales. As a Product Marketing Engineer on the Technical Product Marketing team, you will support the broader Product Support and Technical Marketing organization. Your primary responsibility will be managing day-to-day product support activities while collaborating with team members to ensure operational efficiency. A general knowledge of power distribution and protection—including automation and control, underground switchgear, and overhead products and applications—is required. This role reports to the Manager – Technical Product Marketing and is based at S&C Electric Company headquarters in Chicago.Key Responsibilities:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Maintain and analyze product support KPIs.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Collaborate with product managers to answer commercial team inquiries.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Administrating and executing product management systems and processes.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Working with technical writers on literature updates and new technical marketing materials.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Tracking the competitive landscape for S&C’s product portfolio.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Working with the Legal team to understand and communicate regulations that affect S&C’s product portfolio.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Contributing to new product development projects and launches.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams to support trade shows and manage product demo equipment procurement. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Support third-party factory visits, demonstrations, and customer trainings.</li></ul>What you’ll Need To Succeed:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. MBA is desirable. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">1-3 years of proven product marketing/management experience or sales engineering of power distribution and protection products or equivalent</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Good PC skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Power BI software. </li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Strong technical leadership abilities with good interpersonal and communication skills.</li></ul>S&C Electric is committed to equal-opportunity employment.
