The Nurse Technician performs basic patient care by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Please note the following important details regarding this position:
- This is anonsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.
- Candidates must reside within commutable distanceof the following office location:
- Texas: Lubbock
- Flexibility to work a day, evening or night shift as scheduled
- Must beavailable to work weekends and holidaysas scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.
- Positions specified as on call/per diem refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an as needed basis to fill in for staff vacancies
Required Qualifications:
- A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment.
- A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation. After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position.
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
