Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.</p><p></p><p><b>Position Overview</b></p><p><span><span>The Senior Manager, Project Management plays a vital role within the Strategy Global Ops Organization. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of key projects that support business operations and network strategic initiatives aligned to the long-term Global Operations strategy. The position leads the planning, execution, and delivery of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.</span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span>The Senior Manager will oversee large-scale capital investment projects</span> and<span> provid</span>e<span> guidance and coordination across cross-functional and cross-regional teams. </span>Responsibilities include<span> defining project scope, developing schedules, securing resources, and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment with organizational goals.</span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span>Given the global scope of Johnson & Johnson’s network, including manufacturing sites and offices, the Senior Manager will leverage technical expertise and project management best practices to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. The role requires a strong focus on operational excellence, site ramp-up and product transfers, regulatory compliance, and safety, supporting the organization’s strategic priorities and ensuring successful project outcomes.</span></span></p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery against safety, quality, cost, scope, and schedule objectives.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Develop and implement the project execution plans, including risk identification, mitigation strategies, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Drive project planning, tracking, governance, and reporting to ensure alignment with approved objectives and overall program success.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Manage relationships with internal customers, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment, transparency, and satisfaction.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Oversee a strategic portfolio of projects across multiple sites, ensuring delivery in accordance with organizational priorities and KPIs.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Provide leadership, coaching, and support to project leads, and step into a senior project lead role when needed to maintain delivery continuity.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Drive the project management best practices and continuous improvement to strengthen execution, standardization, and team capability.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Lead cross-functional project teams with strong emphasis on safety, collaboration, accountability, and regional coordination.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring effective integration of technical, financial, and operational requirements</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements & Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration or related fields.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>10 years or more of relevant experience in engineering, project management, or manufacturing, with a focus on operational excellence and team leadership.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Demonstrated experience in managing projects or programs in a regulated manufacturing environment, including planning, execution, and compliance.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes in FDA-regulated environments, including design, start-up, and operational phases.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, coordinate efforts across departments, and deliver projects on time and within budget.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience managing project or operational budgets, resource planning, and forecasting.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>This position requires up to 50-75% domestic and international travel.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Project Management certification or advanced degree preferred.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Additional strengths include agile decision=making, analytical insights, business alignment, continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, leadership, organizational project management, proficiency with project management tools, project reporting, statement of work (SOW) development, and technical credibility.</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>An internal pre-identified candidate for consideration has been identified.
